Inclusion of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Community Within Indonesian Society

Summary
This document is a comprehensive study in e-book format published in November 2021 under the title “The Inclusion of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Community in Indonesian Society”. This xx + 324-page book is the result of a collaborative research effort between SETARA Institute, the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Community (PB JAI), and the One Justice Network (YSK).
This book provides an in-depth and systematic analysis of the fulfillment of citizens’ constitutional rights, particularly those of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Community (JAI). The study focuses on the right to Freedom of Religion or Belief (KBB), which is examined as part of non-derogable rights (human rights that cannot be curtailed under any circumstances). This book documents the various challenges, cases of intolerance, barriers to public services, and social and legal discrimination experienced by the JAI, while also offering a perspective on inclusivity to promote fair governance of diversity in Indonesia.
