Module for Madrasah Principal and Supervisor: Indonesian Islam Strengthening

Summary
The “Strengthening Indonesian Islam” module is a training guide for madrasah principals and supervisors, developed through a collaboration between the SETARA Institute and the Inspectorate General of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs. This program aims to enhance managerial competencies and policy-making skills to prevent radical ideologies, exclusivism, and intolerance in educational settings. The training material covers an understanding of the history of diversity in Indonesia, the strengthening of Pancasila as a common agreement (kalimatun sawa), as well as the application of Islamic values Rahmatan Lil Alamin that are peaceful and adaptable to local cultures. In addition, this module equips participants with digital literacy to face the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and foster social harmony through the wise use of social media. Through a participatory approach, this module is expected to instill discipline among government officials so they remain loyal to Pancasila in order to maintain national unity.
